Deadlines:

Submissions for the calendar categories will end on 15 November 2025 at 23:59 EST

Submission process:

Photo format:

Photo submissions must be no more than 10 MB each
Should a photo win, the submitter may send a larger photo file for printing
Photo may be in any common digital image format
Lossless formats like PNGs are preferred
Photo submission dimensions must be reasonable (between 1:1 and 1:4 is good, 11" x 8.5" is golden)

Photo content:

All submissions must have been taken in 2025 by the submitter
Submissions should be edited to how you'd like them to appear in the calendar
The same or similar photo cannot be submitted to multiple calendar categories
All calendar submissions must be identifiable to species level
All calendar submissions must include wild, safe-for-work snakes
Certain cases like predation and gore are up to discretion
All submissions must show safe and ethical care of its living subjects (e.g. no freehandling)
Subtle watermarks on photos are acceptable, as long as they don't cover the subject
Generative AI images are not permitted

Accompanying information:

Locations must be appropriately obscured (to country, state/province, or county)
Should a photo require multiple credits, add all names to that section on the Google Form

Discarded submissions:

You may retract a submission by contacting me
Any submissions that show unsafe or unethical behavior will be discarded
Any submissions that violate the submission rules or category descriptions may be discarded
You must be a Discord server member during the voting period, or your submission will be discarded
(You may join the Discord server during 2025 and still be eligible to submit)
If I'm not able to contact you after making an effort to do so, your submission will be discarded
I will do my best to work with submissions with issues before discarding them
